During this week, everyone on Campus will be getting involved with different causes to do our bit for the community. One of these organisations is the Topsy Foundation for who everyone who can has been knitting scarves for a while now.
We’ve also partnered with the Department of Basic Education and the Nelson Mandela Foundation on their 94+ project. The main aim of the campaign is to celebrate former President Mandela’s legacy by improving infrastructure in at least 94 schools across the country to give hope and dignity to the learners who attend these schools.
Ogilvy Johannesburg has adopted two of these schools. On Wednesday we’ll be visiting Ibhongo High School and on Friday we’ll be painting walls at Sizanani Primary Shool. Our Cape Town offices are also lending a hand to a school as part of this project.
Today, we visited Soweto Kliptown Youth (SKY) which provides hope and services to some of the most neglected children in South Africa. Read all about what Team Red got up to there in Mashadi Dube‘s blog post.
Throughout the week you can follow what we get up to around the #Ogilvy67 hashtag.
